* Cylinders must be current on hydro testing and cylinder inspection dates.
Air Fills
The centerpiece of our shop is our fill station, where we have two high-pressure, high-capacity compressors to fill scuba tanks. Regular air quality checks ensure that only clean, dry air goes into our scuba tanks. During the day, starting at 6am, these compressors are constantly running and operated by trained Fill Station Operators. We fill tanks to 3,000 psi, and have a pressure gauge on site you can use to test your fill.
* Open-water diver (or higher) certification is required for any scuba cylinder fills.

Nitrox
Our continuous gas blending station means that we can custom blend your nitrox mix up to 40%, and since there is no high pressure oxygen in our system, nitrox fills are more accurate and safer than partial pressure blending. Our oxygen is aviation-grade. Nitrox is mixed by certified gas blenders who ensure safety and accuracy of nitrox fills. We fill tanks to 3,000 psi, and have a nitrox analyzer and pressure gauge on site you can use to test your fill.
* Open-water diver (or higher) and nitrox certifications are required for nitrox cylinder fills.

FAQ
Aviation Grade vs. Medical Grade Oxygen
What's the difference between aviation grade and medical grade oxygen?
What's the difference between aviation grade and medical grade oxygen?
Aviation and medical grade oxygen is comprised of the same USP (United States Pharmacopoeia) grade material. Simply put, they are both oxygen. The primary difference between aviation and medical grade is primarily in the processing of the gas going into the cylinder, as well as in the handling of the finished gas cylinder.
Aviation grade oxygen undergoes an additional drying process to prevent freezing at high altitudes where this gas is commonly utilized. The moisture content of aviation grade oxygen is guaranteed to be dryer than medical grade oxygen. The cost of aviation grade oxygen is also usually higher than medical grade oxygen.
Furthermore, medical grade oxygen is handled and regulated as a prescription drug, so there is an added difficulty in obtaining this grade of gas, but this doesn't matter anyway, because as divers we want dry air to prevent any condensation or corrosion inside our dive cylinders.
