Deep Diving
Hawaiian Diving Adventures
“What’s the deepest dive you
have ever made?” Demystify deeper diving by learning about potential safety issues
and the practical concerns of descending to the maximum recreational no-decompression
diving depth limits of 130ft/40m. Students will learn about increased pressure and
physiological effects on divers, and how colors and light changes the deeper the
diver goes underwater.
This
specialty class provides students the knowledge and skills to more safely dive to
130ft/40m. Students learn more about preventing decompression sickness and nitrogen
narcosis. This course will also help students learn more about planning deep dives,
contingency plans, and introduces the use of redundant air supplies.
3 Dives, $299
All of our teaching staff are active instructors with at least two of the
three scuba diving certification agencies. Hawaiian Diving Adventures
predominantly offers SSI specialty courses and certifications, however
we also have active PADI and NAUI dive instructors on staff
that can help you complete your dive specialty course with those diver
certifying agencies. Prices and requirements will vary by agency.
